Ward starts the Herd's quick start with a 12-yard TD late in the 1st quarter and Andre Booker returns a punt 58 yards for a score on the final play of the quarter. Ward's 2-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter gives a 21-0 lead to underdog Marshall. Ohio gets on the board when Shannon Ballard returns a fumble 75 yards for a TD late in the 1st half, but the Bobcats can get no closer after scoring 10 points in the 3rd quarter.
