Navy erases a 21-7 halftime deficit with 2 TD runs from Vince Murray and Ricky Dobbs. Dobbs' 5-yard TD run in the 4th quarter gives the Middies a 35-28 lead over SMU, which rallies to force OT with a 10-yard TD pass from Bo Levi Mitchell to Aldrick Robinson w/ 1:35 to play.

After the Mustangs misfire on a FG attempt on their possession in OT, Joe Buckley converts a 24-yard FG to win it. Murray rushes for 141 yards for Navy, while Dobbs throws for 68 yards and runs for 89 more.
