Mississippi State forces 4 turnovers by Ole Miss, while limiting the Rebels to less than 23 minutes of possession and riding big days by Anthony Dixon and Chris Relf. Dixon rushes for 133 yards and 1 TD, while Relf attempts just 5 passes, but 2 go for TDs and he also runs for 131 yards and 1 TD.

The Bulldogs turn the game around with a big 3rd quarter. Trailing 13-10 at halftime, Mississippi State ties it on Derek DePasquale's 48-yard FG, and then Relf hits Marcus Green with a 2-yard TD pass and follows with a 34-yard TD pass to Chad Bumpus for a 27-13 lead.
