Wolfpack makes a pair of rallies, then holds on to beat the Panthers 38-31.

N.C. State trails 17-7 and 31-17, rallying each time to tie and then wins it after Toney Baker scores his 2nd TD, on a 2-yard run with 6:28 left in the game. The Wolfpack had tied Pitt 31-31 with a pair of TD passes by Russell Wilson, the last a 7-yarder to George Bryan early in the 4th quarter.

Wilson finishes with 4 TD passes and 322 yards. He tied it at 17-17 early in the 2nd half with a 38-yard TD pass to Baker. After the Panthers went back up 31-17 on 2 TD passes by Bill Stull, Wilson starts the 2nd rally with a 33-yard TD pass to Jarvis Williams late in the 3rd quarter.
