Miners upset the Golden Hurricane 28-24.

Donald Buckram rushes for 165 yards and 2 TDs, including the winning score on a 3-yarder with :30 left to lift UTEP to the victory. Tulsa had gone ahead 24-13 on G.J. Kinne's 1-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter, capping a run of 24 straight points by the Golden Hurricane.

Buckram's 8-yard TD run and Trevor Vittatoe's pass to Tufick Shadrawy for a 2-point conversion start the rally w/ 6:25 left. Vittatoe helps UTEP to a 13-0 lead in the 1st quarter with an 80-yard TD pass to Donavon Kemp.
