Dan Hutchins' 18-yard FG on the final play after a 74-yard drive wins it for Pitt, which erased a 21-6 deficit. The Panthers start their rally in the final minute of the 3rd quarter when Bill Stull hits Jonathan Baldwin with a 26-yard TD pass.

Stull draws Pitt even with UConn midway through the 4th quarter when he hits Dorin Dickerson with a 27-yard TD pass and then follows with a 2-point conversion to Cedric McGee. Stull finishes with 268 yards and 2 TDs, while Baldwin catches 8 for 104 yards. Dion Lewis rushes for 158 yards for Pitt.
