#4 Cornhuskers stop the #1 Sooners 17-14.

Nebraska beats Oklahoma for the 1st time in 7 years as the Sooners short-ciruit with 6 fumbles, with Billy Sims fumbling twice in Huskers' territory in the 4th quarter, including once inside the 10-yard line. Nebraska is able to move the ball off its own goal line following the last fumble and kill the clock to secure the upset.

Sims had run for a pair of TDs and 153 yards. However, the Cornhuskers take a lead in Billy Todd's 34-yard FG early in the 4th quarter. Rick Berns rushes for 113 yards to lead Nebraska.
