Southern Cal is staring an upset in the face after missed opportunities and a strong effort by LSU leaves the Trojans trailing 12-3 in the 4th quarter. However, Southern Cal puts together 2 big drives to win it.

Charles White caps the 1st with a 4-yard TD run that cuts the deficit to 12-10, and then Paul McDonald hits Kevin Williams for a 7-yard TD pass w/ :35 to play to win it. The Tigers had lead since Steve Ensminger hits LeRoid Jones with a 13-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter for a 6-3 lead.
