Baylor dominates Arkansas, beating the Hogs for the 1st time in Waco since 1963. Walter Abercrombie leads the way with 128 yards rushing and 3 TDs, while Jay Jeffrey runs for a TD and throws for another. Dennis Gentry also tops the 100-yard mark.

Abercrombie caps the opening drive with a 1-yard TD run. After Arkansas ties it on Tom Jones' 1-yard TD pass to Daryl Mason on 4th down, Abercrombie and Jeffrey answer with 1-yard TD runs in the 2nd quarter. Jeffrey extends the lead to 28-7 with a 36-yard TD pass to Mike Fisher with 1:27 left in the 1st half. Abercrombie finishes his day with a 17-yard TD run, capping a 93-yard drive in the 3rd quarter.
