Penn State's running game is too much for Boston College as Mike Meade runs for 107 yards and 1 TD, and tailback Curt Warner rushes for 105 yards and 2 TDs. Todd Blackledge throws for 182 yards and 1 TD.

Warner's 7-yard TD run caps an opening drive and starts the Lions' rout. Meade later adds a 1-yard TD run and Blackledge follows an INT by Mark Robinson with a TD pass to Kenny Jackson to build a 24-0 lead for Penn State.
