Golden Eagles sting the Bulldogs in the end for 27-24 win.

Shawn Halloran hits Kelvin Martin with a 5-yard TD pass w/ :47 left to win it for Boston College after Georgia erased a 20-7 deficit in the 2nd half. Halloran throws for 319 yards and 2 TDs.

However, a mistake by Halloran sparks a big comeback by the Bulldogs, when Gary Moss picks off a pass in the flat and returns it 81 yards for a TD, cutting Boston College's lead to 20-17 in the 3rd quarter. James Jackson then puts Georgia in front early in the 4th quarter with a 5-yard TD run.

The Bulldogs are unable to stop the Eagles in the end. After a TD catch in the end zone is incorrectly ruled an incompletion, Boston College keeps the drive alive on a pass interference call on 4th down and then continues on for the winning score. Martin catches 9 passes for 96 yards while Troy Stradord rushes for 122 yards and 1 TD.
