Jeff Francis hits Joey Clinkscales with a 15-yard TD in the 4th quarter after Minnesota erases Tennesse's 14-0 lead in the 1st half. Francis finishes 22-of-31 for 243 yards and 3 TDs, connecting with Clinkscales for 7 catches and 72 yards with 2 TDs.

Francis starts the Vols' night with an 18-yard TD pass to Clinkscales in the 1st quarter, and then follows with a 23-yard TD pass to Willam Howard on a screen pass.

However, the Gophers rally behind Rickey Foggie and Darrell Thompson. Thompson rushes for 139 yards and a 2-point conversion. Foggie's 11-yard TD run and Thompson's conversion in the 3rd quarter cuts Tennessee's lead to 14-11. Chip Lohmiller's 2 FG ties it.
