Bobby Humphrey gift wraps Alabama's win on Christmas day with 3 TDs, while rushing for 159 yards. Mike Shula adds 2 TDs while throwing for 167 yards.

Humphrey starts the Tide with a 64-yard TD run. Washington is able to answer with a pair of FGs by Jeff Jaeger in the 2nd quarter, but the 2nd half is all Alabama. Shula hits Greg Richardson with a 32-yard TD pass and then Humphrey for a 17-yard TD, building a 21-6 lead in the 3rd quarter. Humphrey's 3-yard TD run in the 4th quarter caps off the Tide's rout.

Chris Chandler throws for 199 yards, but the Huskies are unable to overcome 3 turnovers, and star WR Lonzell Hill is an after thought until the closing minutes.
