#10 Bruins hold off the Gators for 20-16 win.

UCLA builds a 20-10 lead in the 2nd half and then stops Florida's rally attempt. The Gators close to within 20-16 on Kerwin Bell's 14-yard TD pass to Anthony Williams w/ 7:51 to play, and then Florida's final drive ends with an incomplete pass into the end zone from the Bruins' 20 on the final play.

The teams played to a 10-10 draw in the 1st half with UCLA tying it on Brian Brown's 1-yard TD on the final play of the 2nd quarter. Troy Aikman hits Danny Thompson with a 25-yard TD pass after a blocked punt by UCLA early in the 2nd half. Alfredo Velasco's 2nd FG, early in the 4th quarter gives the Bruins a 20-10 lead.

Aikman goes 19-of-30 for 173 yards while suffering 2 INTs. Bell throws for 188 yards and 2 TDs, hitting Stacy Simmons with a 7-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter. Emmitt Smith rushes for 128 yards on 17 carries.
