Nebraska is on the verge of taking a 2-score lead in the 4th quarter when Tyreese Knox fumbles and Eric Hayes recovers at the 3. Danny McManus then guides Florida State on a 97-yard TD drive to take the lead with less than 3 minutes to play on a 15-yard TD pass to Ron Lewis on 4th-and-goal.

McManus throws for a Fiesta Bowl-record 375 yards and 3 TDs as the Seminoles comeback after falling behind 14-0 in the 1st quarter. McManus connects with Herb Gainer on a pair of TD passes in the 2nd quarter helping FSU take the lead.
