Demetrius Brown bounces back from a 7-interception performance to lead Michigan, throwing for 3 TDs and running for a 4th. Brown hits 14-of-19 for 190 yards and loses just 1 fumble, which Iowa turns into a TD.

Brown scores on a 1-yard sneak, and then follows with a 35-yard TD pass to John Kolesar. He adds a pair of TD passes to Greg McMurtry, including a 50-yarder as the Wolverines open a 30-10 lead at halftime. The margin helps Michigan withstand a 362-yard passing peformance by Chuck Hartlieb.
