Southern Cal jumps on Oklahoma early and then rides a smothering defense to the win. The Trojans jump in front on Aaron Emanuel's 5-yard TD run on the 2nd drive and then use a series of turnovers to break the game open.

Southern Cal converts an interception into the 1st of 3 FGs by Quinn Rodriguez, Emanuel adds a 6-yard TD run after a fumble recovery and Rodriguez makes it 20-0 with a FG after another fumble on the next Sooners' possession. The Trojans finish forcing 6 turnovers and holding Oklahoma to 89 yards rushing.
