Todd Philcox throws for 291 yards and 2 TDs as Syracuse scores its first victory at Penn State since 1970. After several missed opportunities and mistakes leave the Orangemen trailing 7-6, Syracuse takes the lead for good when Philcox hits Deval Glover for a 6-yard TD pass and then follows with a 2-point conversion to Rob Moore.

Philcox's 31-yard TD pass to Robert Drummond midway through the 4th quarter extends the Orangemen's lead to 24-10.
