#22 Illini stun #5 Trojans with a rally for a 14-13 win.

Jeff George tosses a pair of TDs late in the 4th quarter to erase a 13-0 lead by Southern Cal. George gets Illinois on the board when Shawn Wax corrals a deflected pass and takes it in for a 53-yard TD pass w/ 6:00 left.

George, who throws for 248 yards, drives Illini 80 yards on the next series, capping it with a 20-yard TD pass to Steven Williams w/ 2:19 left. The Trojans had smothered Illinois' attack until the final 2 drives, and held a 13-0 lead on a pair of FGs by Quinn Rodriguez and a 27-yard return of a blocked punt by Marcus Hopkins.
