#3 Cornhuskers rout Beavers 35-7.

Nebraska's defense overwhelms Oregon State, recording 11 sacks in the process. The Beavers manage to stay close until the 2nd half slowing the Cornhuskers' running game, holding Ken Clark to just 59 yards and 1 TD on 20 carries.

However, the Cornhuskers find enough offense. Gerry Gdowski's 7-yard TD run gets Nebraska on the board first. He later adds a 60-yard TD pass to Jon Bostick as the Huskers pull away.
