Oregon survives a 2nd half rally by Oregon State to claim the victory. The Beavers cut a 16-0 halftime deficit to 23-21 on Nick Schichtle's 24-yard TD pass to Pat Chaffey midway through the 4th quarter.

Derek Loville's 2-yard TD run with 4:41 left stems the rally for Oregon. Loville rushes for 111 yards and 2 TDs, while Bill Musgrave adds a TD pass to Terry Obee.
