#10 Trojans beat the Bears 31-15.

Southern Cal turns in a dominating performance, as Leroy Holt and Ricky Ervins combine to rush for over 280 yards. Holt leads the way with 160 yards, including a 55-yard TD run. Conversely, Cal manages just 26 yards against the Trojans' defense.

The Bears briefly threatened to get back into the game late in the 1st half, down 17-7 but driving before the Trojans pick off Troy Taylor. Southern Cal drives for another TD. Todd Marinovich throws for a TD and runs for another.
