Crimson Tide stuns the #3 Volunteers 9-6.

Alabama turns loss into victory in the closing minutes. After Greg Burke is short on a 52-yard FG midway through the 4th quarter, Tennessee gets field position and is able to set up Burke with another shot from 50 yards, but Stacy Harrison blocks his attempt w/ 1:35 left. It in turn sets up Philip Doyle for a 48-yard FG on the final play to win it for the Tide.

Defenses dominated through out as Doyle manages all of Alabama's points, hitting from 30 and 26 yards. Burke counters with a 20-yarder and then a 51-yarder early in the 4th quarter that ties it 6-6.
