Bears survive for a 17-15 win over the Cowboys.

Cal prevails after a 2-point try falls incomplete following a furious late rally by Wyoming. The Bears take a 17-3 lead on Greg Zomalt's 4-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter.

The Cowboys strike with the passing game, setting up Jay Daffer's 11-yard TD run w/ 5:53 left and unsuccessfully try for a 2-point conversion. After stopping Cal on the ensuing series, Robert Rivers returns a punt 70 yards for a TD w/ :49 left. However, after a delay of game penalty, Wyoming is unable to convert the 2-point try to tie the game and is unable to recover the onside kick that follows.
