Michigan rolls up 715 yards on offense and Ole Miss is unable to counter with a response. Elvis Grbac throws for 296 yards and 4 TDs as the Wolverines coast. Desmond Howard has 6 catches for 167 yards with TDs of 67 and 50 yards.

Michigan breaks the game open in the 3rd after leading 14-3 at halftime. Jarrod Bunch follows Howard's 50-yard TD catch and run with a 7-yard TD run and then Grbac finds Derrick Alexander for a 31-yard TD pass. Bunch has a TD catch to go with his TD run while backfield mates Jon Vaughn and Ricky Powers combine for 240 yards rushing.
