Paul Kujawa's 1-yard TD run w/ 1:09 left caps an 85-yard drive for Iowa's winning score. Matt Rodgers throws for 276 yards and 1 TD, hitting 5-of-6 for 67 yards on the winning drive. He also adds a TD run.

Michigan appeared to be in solid control after Dwayne Ware recovers a blocked punt in the end zone for a TD, but a failed 'swinging gate' 2-point attempt fails, leaving the Wolverines' margin at 20-10 with the failed conversion being decisive at the end. J.D. Carlson's 37-yard FG w/ 4:27 to play gives Michigan a 23-17 edge, but Iowa then takes the ball and drives for the winning score.
