John Langeloh nails a 43-yard FG as time expires to lift Michigan State to a draw. Syracuse had gone ahead on John Biskup's 27-yard FG w/ 1:25 to play, but the Orangemen give the Spartans a second life with an offsides penalty on 4th down w/ :19 to play, allowing Dan Enos hit Courtney Hawkins with a 17-yard pass to set up the tying FG.

Marvin Graves throws for 177 yards, and leads Syracuse from behind to take a 20-17 lead before Langeloh's 2nd FG ties it from 49 yards out with 7:20 left.
