#14 Sooners crush #13 Panthers 52-10.

Oklahoma looks in vintage form despite talking of passing more, and runs over Pitt with ease. The Sooners showcase 3 100-yard rushers led by Kenyon Rasheed's 122 yards on 13 carries. Rasheed, Ike Lewis and Dewell Brewer combine for 339 yards and 5 TDs in the rout.

However, Oklahoma's initial statement does come through the air when Steve Collins hits Otis Taylor for a 71-yard TD on its 1st play from scrimmage. After the Panthers get on the score board, Lewis scores on a 63-yard run despite stepping out as shown on replays and Rasheed adds an 11-yard TD run to help open a 31-3 halftime lead. Brewer then extends the lead in the 3rd quarter with TD sprints of 51 and 47 yards.
