#18 Trojans weather the #15 Buckeyes 35-26.

Ohio State's 4th quarter rally is stopped short by the USC defense and weather that ends the game with just over 2 minutes remaining. The Trojans get 199 yards and 2 TDs from Ricky Ervins, and an early TD off special teams when Zuri Hector returns a punt blocked by Willie McGinest.

USC gets a big rushing day from Ervins in company, overcoming a poor effort by Todd Marinovich, who throws for 119 yards and 2 INTs. Ervins leads the way as the Trojans run for 331 yards. Scott Lockwood rushes for 75 yards, including a 66-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter for a 28-10 lead and Mazio Royster adds 70 yards.
