The Aggies had jumped in front 17-0 and scored on their 1st 4 possessions before the Cougars' defense begins forcing turnovers, 7 in total, to stop the attack. David Klingler throws for 352 yards and 1 TD and runs for another.

Houston had taken a 27-24 lead in the 3rd quarter before Texas A&M regains the lead on Darren Lewis' 12-yard TD run. Lewis runs for 124 yards and 4 TDs.
