Greg Thomas blocks a 41-yard FG attempt by Byron Bennett on the final play to forge the tie between the Big 8 Co-leaders. Nebraska had rallied to tie the game on Derek Brown's 7-yard TD run w/ 6:41 to play.

Colorado had answered with a long drive and Darian Hagan's 2 TD run after the Cornhuskers tied the game at 12-12. Hagan finishes with 231 total yards.
