Notes: Most commercials and halftime edited out... Very nice picture, but very tightly edited, begins seconds before opening kickoff, 1st disk ends as teams leaving field at halftime, 2nd half kickoff is JIP... Would be nice to upgrade with a version not so tightly edited, especially with some pre-game, and before 2nd half is started.

#3 Aggies' perfection evaporates against #5 Irish in a 28-3 loss.

Texas A&M's argument for inclusion in the National Championship discussion collapses as Notre Dame overruns the Aggies on both sides of the football. Rick Mirer throws for 2 TDs while Reggie Brooks and Jerome Bettis tag team Texas A&M on the ground, combining for 190 yards and 2 TDs.

Meanwhile, the Aggies manage just 165 total yards. The Irish fail to produce points despite moving the ball much of the 1st half, but crack the scoring with Mirer's 40-yard TD pass to Lake Dawson in the final minute before halftime. Mirer extends the lead with a 26-yard TD pass to Bettis in the 3rd quarter. Bettis then adds the 1st of his 2 TD runs to make it 21-0.
