#14 Nittany Lions finish strong, beat the Mountaineers 40-26.

Tied 26-26, Penn State puts together an 89-yard drive in the closing minutes to take the lead on Richie Anderson's 3-yard TD run w/ :52 left. The drive was sparked by a 40-yard reception by Justin Williams from Kerry Collins, making his 1st start. The Lions seal the win with Phil Yeboah-Kodie's 23-yard INT return.

Anderson rushes for 133 yards and 3 TDs, and gives Penn State a 26-16 lead in the 3rd quarter with an 11-yard TD run. However, West Virginia battles back with a 28-yard TD run by Adrian Murrell and then a 41-yard FG by Mike Vanderjagt to tie it in the 4th quarter.

Collins goes 15-of-30 for 249 yards and 2 TDs with Troy Drayton catching 4 passes for 95 yards and 1 TD. Murrell runs for 154 yards while Jake Kelcher tosses a pair of TDs, including a 74-yarder to Jay Kearney.
