Alabama wins the inaugural SEC Championship game and a berth in the Sugar Bowl when Antonio Langham picks off Shane Matthews and returns it 27 yards w/ 3:16 left for the winning TD. Langham's big defensive play comes after Florida rallied from a 21-7 deficit to tie while the Tide's offense went stagnant and its punting game turned into a liability.

Matthews hits 30-of-49 for 287 yards and 2 TDs, while Errict Rhett has 141 combined yards and 2 TDs. Derrick Lassic rushes for 117 yards and gives Alabama 21-7 lead with his 15-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter before the Gators start their rally.
