#2 Huskies hammer the #15 Cardinal 41-7.

Stanford converts and early turnover into a 31-yard TD pass from Steve Stenstrom to Justin Armour and from then on the wheels fall off as Washington dominates. Mark Brunell answers with a 3-yard TD pass to Leif Johnson and then follows with a TD run.

The Cardinal's hopes take a major hit when James Clifford picks off Stenstrom and returns it for a TD while Stenstrom is knocked out of the game on the play. Brunell adds a 2 TD pass in the 3rd quarter as the Huskies pull away.
