Bruins survive to upset the Trojans 38-37.

UCLA score 21 straight points in the 4th quarter to claim the lead and then hangs on when Nkoski Littleton breaks up Rob Johnson's 2-point pass attempt for the win after Johnson scores on a 1-yard sneak w/ :41 to play.

It caps a dramatic finish as the Bruins score 21 points after USC takes a 31-17 lead. Walkon senior John Barnes throws for 385 yards and 3 TDs, including 2 to J.J. Stokes in the 4t quarter rally. Barnes hits Stokes on a deep pass that he turns into a 90-yard TD and go-ahead score w/ 3:08 to play. Stokes catches 6 passes for 263 yards and 3 TDs. Each is a big play covering 57 yards, 29 and then 90 yards for the winner. The 29-yard TD hookup starts the 4th quarter rally.

The Trojans break a 17-17 tie when Zuri Hector blocks a punt and Bruce Luzzi recovers it for the score and then Estrus Crayton breaks loose for a 32-yrd TD run.
