#1 Seminoles hammer the Tigers 57-0.

Charlie Ward and the Florida State attack cruise while the defense deals Clemson its first ACC shutout since 1979. Ward hits 25 of 33 passes for 318 yards and 4 TDs, while backup Danny Kanell adds a 78-yard TD pass to Lonnie Johnson during a brief 2nd quarter appearance. Kanell adds another TD pass in the 2nd half.

When the Tigers threaten to end the shutout with a drive inside the FSU 20, the Noles respond and Derrick Brooks scoops up a fumble, returning it 83 yards for a TD. Brooks also blocks a punt that is recovered for another score in the 1st half.
