Florida marks Louisiana State's 100th year of football by delivering the Tigers their worst ever loss. Danny Wuerffel throws for 221 yards and 4 TDs before taking up residence on the bench in the 3rd quarter.

LSU jumps in front with a FG capping an impressive opening drive, but its all Gators after that. Harrison Houston catches 5 passes for 100 yards and 2 TDs. Wuerffel and Houston connect on a 1st half TD as Florida opens a 23-3 lead by halftime.
