Robert Walker's 19-yard TD run puts West Virginia in the lead w/ 6:08 left, helping the Mountaineers improve to 10-0. Walker rushes for 100 yards while the West Virginia defense shuts down Miami's attack.

The Mountaineers hold the Canes to 223 total yards while forcing 3 turnovers. West Virginia holds a 3-0 lead until Donnell Bennett gets Miami on the board in the 3rd quarter with the 1st of 2 TD runs. His 2nd TD, a 1-yarder early in the 4th quarter gives the Hurricanes a 14-10 lead. But the Mountaineers answer with the aid of a critical holding penalty that keeps the drive alive, setting up Walker's 19-yard TD run.
