Ohio State masters the slick track and Penn State to remain undefeated. Raymont Harris carries 32 times for 153 yards and 1 TD, while the Buckeyes defense forces 5 turnovers, including 4 picks of Kerry Collins.

Penn State stays close early, trailing 7-6 after 2 FGs by Craig Fayak make him the school's all-time leading scorer. However, Bret Powers hits Joey Galloway for a 25-yard TD pass giving Ohio State a 17-6 lead in the 2nd quarter. Butler By'Note's 4-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter makes it 24-6 and too much for the mistake-prone Penn State offense to overcome.
