Auburn extends its winning streak to 12 straight with the aid of a late defensive stop and blocked FG attempt. Down 16-3, Ole Miss rallies with 22-17 on Josh Nelson's 4th-down, 13-yard TD pass to Roell Preston. The Rebels drive inside the 10 before a 3rd-down sack forces them to settle for a FG attempt with about 4 minutes left.

The Tigers dominate the 1st half, riding Stephen Davis and a stingy defense. Davis finishes with 158 yards and 1 TD. The defense gets on the board by tackling Mark Smith for a safety.
