Trojans destroy the Bears 61-0.

Southern Cal starts fast and cruises by Cal. The Trojans jump in front with a 7-yard TD pass from Brad Otton to Terry Barnum, followed by a 60-yard return of a blocked FG by Jerald Henry for a 14-0 lead.

The Bears, playing without injured QB Dave Barr, are unable to mount any offense to challenge USC. Otton hits 15 of 20 for 196 yards and 2 TDs to Barnum while Shawn Walters rushes for 76 yards and 2 TDs despite resting most of the game.
