#5 Gators crush the Bulldogs 52-14.

Florida Field lives up to its nickname "The Swamp" as Georgia makes a rare visit due to construction at the Gator Bowl. On a very wet night, Florida destroys its rival on both sides of the ball. The Gators get 21 points from their defense, which forces Eric Zeier into 4 INTs.

Danny Wuerffel throws for 209 yards and 2 TD passes, both to Chris Doering, helping Florida open a 17-0 lead. Zeier begins to rally the Bulldogs, but down 17-7 and driving, Larry Bowie fumbles and Michael GIlmore returns it 59 yards for a TD. Then Darren Hambrick picks Zeier on the next series, returning it 81 yards for another TD and a 31-7 halftime lead for the Gators.
