UNLV avenges a regular loss with a dominating performance against Central Michigan, which is forced to play without All-American running back Brian Pruitt. With Pruitt out, and his backup Eric Johnson and QB Erik Timpf sent to the sidelines with injury, the Chippewas are no match for the Rebels.

Henry Bailey leads UNLV with 79 yards and 3 TDs on 7 carries, and 5 catches for 101 yards and another TD. After Central Michigan draws within 14-10 in the 2nd quarter, Bailey scores on a 49-yard run and Keith Washington returns a fumble 15 yards for a TD to break the game open.
