#9 Auburn keep streak alive with 30-26 win over LSU.

Auburn extends its winning streak to 14 straight after erasing a 14-point deficit in the 4th quarter with the help of 5 INTs in the quarter, including 3 returned for TDs. Auburn manages just 18 yards in the 2nd half but it doesn't matter thanks to its opportunistic defense.

Trailing 23-9, with its lone TD coming on a defensive fumble recovery in the end zone, the rally starts when Ken Alvis picks off Jamie Howard and returns it 42 yards for a TD. On the very next series, Howard is picked off by Fred Smith who returns it 32 yards for the tying TD.

Howard rallies LSU for a go-ahead FG on the following possession, but after Auburn's offense stalls Howard is picked again by Brian Robinson, who returns it 41 yards for a TD and 30-26 lead. Howard isn't finished though, being picked off once only for the ball to be stripped and recovered by LSU and then the final hope dies when Chris Shelling intercepts a pass into the end zone.
