#12 Wolverines manhandle the Spartans 40-20.

Tyrone Wheatley and Tim Biakabutuka combine to rush for 294 yards and 3 TDs to lead Michigan. After a slow start, the Wolverines erase a 6-3 Michigan State lead with a 5-yard TD pass from Todd Collins to Wheatley and a 2-yard TD run by Wheatley for a 20-6 halftime lead.

Michigan extends the lead to 30-6 in the 3rd quarter on the 3rd of Remy Hamilton's 4 FGs, and Wheatley's 11-yard TD run. Biakabutuka adds a 26-yard TD run to put the Wolverines up 37-13.
