Florida State prevails in the rematch after the Seminoles had rallied from down 28-3 to tie the regular season meeting 31-31 in Tallahassee. In this contest, Florida's offense never finds itself against the FSU defense, marching up and down the field, but turning it over 3 times and failing to capitalize on scoring chances.

Meanwhile, Warrick Dunn has 182 all-purpose yards and adds a 73-yard TD pass to Omar Ellison to give the Seminoles a 10-3 lead in the 1st half. Danny Kanell extends the lead to 17-3 with a TD pass to Kez McCorvey.
