Nebraska jumps in front 12-0 and never looks back. Tommie Frazier tosses a pair of TD passes and runs for another. Frazier hits Eric Alford for a 23-yard TD pass to open the scoring and then scores on a 12-yard TD run as well as a 2-point conversion to gives the Cornhuskers a 20-7 lead over UCLA in the 2nd.

The Bruins stay within 2 scores until Damon Benning adds a 3-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter, and Frazier adds a 9-yard TD pass to Brandon Holbein in the 4th for a 42-14 lead.
