Malcolm Thomas caps the opening drive with a 1-yard TD run and McNabb follows with a 5-yarder before hitting Marvin Harrison on a 38-yard TD pass. McNabb and Harrison combine on a 56-yard TD pass to open a 34-0 lead in the 3rd quarter. Harrison finishes with 7 catches for 173 yards.

Syracuse's defense limits the Tigers to 159 yards offense, and hands Clemson its 1st shutout in a bowl game.
