Southern Cal scores 2 TDs in its 1st 4 offensive plays and routs Houston. Brad Otton hits Keyshawn Johnson for a 57-yard TD pass on the Trojans' 1st offense play and then follows with a 4-yard TD pass to Chris Miller on the 3rd play of their next possession.

Kyle Wachholtz adds a 26-yard TD pass to Johnson in the 2nd quarter for a 21-3 lead. Otton finishes 14-of-21 for 223 yards and 4 TDs with Johnson catching 8 passes for 176 yards.
